corton charlemagne

corton charlemagne
grand cru

Chardonnay vineyard (mass selection) planted in 1938.

Located on the southwest side of the Corton hill, a very steep slope in the commune of Pernand Vergelesses.

A great wine of power and richness, whose inherent pleasure can partially disguise the force that is reaffirmed in the finish. An enhanced touch of minerality assures the firmness of the wine’s structure.

A grand cru that is well-balanced, full, and long, requiring 8 to 10 years in bottle before reaching its climax.
